1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GraceSoft Sentinel Cook service ("Service"), operated by GraceSoft ("we", "us", "our"). The Service includes the Sentinel Cook WhatsApp bot and the website at cook.sentinel.gracesoft.dev.

By sending a message to Sentinel Cook on WhatsApp or by using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.

These Terms should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before being relied upon as legal advice.

2. Description of the Service

Sentinel Cook is a WhatsApp bot that analyses food photographs submitted by users and returns dish identification results, home-style recipes, and estimated nutrition information. The Service also detects photo quality issues (e.g. blurry or multi-dish images) and prompts users to resubmit clearer photos.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

3. Accuracy of Information

• Dish identification is probabilistic and may be incorrect.
• Recipes are home-style approximations and may not reflect authentic or expert preparation.
• Nutrition values are estimated from average data and may differ substantially from actual values.
• Always consult a qualified dietitian, nutritionist, or medical professional for health-related dietary advice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit photos that contain nudity, violence, or otherwise offensive content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service through automated means.
• Transmit spam, unsolicited promotions, or malicious content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to overwhelm or degrade the Service through excessive or abusive usage.

We reserve the right to block or restrict access for any account that violates these terms without prior notice or liability.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sentinel Cook website — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of GraceSoft or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

By submitting a food photo to Sentinel Cook, you grant GraceSoft a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that image solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You retain ownership of any photos you submit.

6. Third-Party Platforms

The Service is delivered via WhatsApp, operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's Terms of Service. GraceSoft is not affiliated with Meta or WhatsApp and is not responsible for any changes to the WhatsApp platform that affect the availability of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GraceSoft and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Reliance on inaccurate recipe or nutrition information.
• Adverse health outcomes resulting from following bot-generated guidance.
• Loss of data, business opportunity, or revenue.
• Service interruptions or errors.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GraceSoft harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
